IRISH GREYHOUND HIGH MAINTENANCE CONFIRMED SAFE AT ANIMA!
We have some wonderful news! High Maintenance (a.k.a. Brighten Righ as renamed by the Canidrome), one of the Irish greyhounds sent to Macau, has been rescued by Anima and is now safe and sound at the refuge.
This is a huge relief, as High Maintenance was one of the Irish dogs widely presumed to be dead last year, so we are very pleased to find that he is very much alive.
Two more of the 9 Irish greyhounds sent to Macau, Crossfield Simon and Bellemore Belle – respectively renamed Beauty Butterfly and Happy Child by the Canidrome – have been rescued by Anima and have now been adopted by suitable families.
High Maintenance was tattooed a second time by the Canidrome, with the obvious intent of attempting to conceal his original identity, as can be seen in the photos. His identity has been confirmed via his identity documents.
High Maintenance has now been renamed Joachim by Anima. Welcome to the safe haven of Anima, Joachim! From now on, life will truly smile on you.
