Tomorrow, if everything goes as expected, we will have three volunteers driving their vans to Hong Kong airport through the new Bridge HK/Macau/Zuhai, taking five of our greyhounds destiny USA!
The importance of this new facility is to short the time travel between Macau and HK Airport!
Up to today the greyhounds were going to HK by boat! For them to take the night plane to Europe or USA they must leave the Canidrome at 5pm one day before, for taking a boat all night to HK! Morning time they arrive HK and are transported to the airport taking almost one hour to arrive and stay in the airport for almost 12 hours before they fly!
Now with the new bridge they leave Macau on the day of the flight at 5pm for instance, arrive HK in just one hour and arrive the airport 10 minutes after arriving HK!
With this procedure we help the greyhounds reducing the risk of that travel and give to them in just few hours a very good air-con environment!
And the cost is also much less!
If you have a license for driving in the bridge and you want to help our Greyhounds please contact Anima and help us!
We need drivers to take as many as possible greyhounds to HK airport! With this facility we do not have airport limitations!
By boat we can only use the airport on Wednesdays and Fridays! And only for five greyhounds each time!
With this facility we can use the airport everyday and almost no limitation on the number of animals!
Please help us to help them if you have such driving permit!
Be our driving volunteer!
