RESCUED HOUNDS MEET CHILDREN AS PART OF THE PROJECT ‘IF YOU LEAVE ME, IT’S NOT FAIR’. ‘
Can eyes that have suffered so much still learn to look upon children with trust and capture their hearts?
The galgos Catalina and Guja, alongside vet Monica Rombai, met with year 2 pupils from the Primary School Lorenzini in Pisa for a learning workshop about dog health. The dogs were fantastic, so sweet and gentle!
It is obvious that the love of an adoptive family can help heal very painful wounds. We are very proud to collaborate with Monica Rombai and the association Pet Levrieri.’
The project ‘If You Leave Me, It’s Not Fair‘, in partnership with Pet Levrieri, was born 4 years ago in Pontedera (Pisa), at the Primary School of the Comprehensive Institute Pacinotti. It has been developed over time thanks to the teaching staff of experts who accompany the children on this fascinating, moving and educational learning journey.
The project’s real synergy comes from the cooperation and teamwork at its heart, and its main objective is to improve children’s knowledge and understanding of dogs as a fundamental step towards developing respect in general towards others.
In this way, school can offer a rich and stimulating environment for educational experiences.
Pet Levrieri is also proud to be associated with ‘If You Leave Me, It’s Not Fair‘, and supports the project.
