Our project is slowly picking up speed. We have had our first transports and our first adoptions, we’ve taken part in the biggest ever antiracing protest to date, the one held in Manchester, we have shared information and reported on the actual situation of greyhounds and the reasons behind their exploitation.
We have set up a network of foster families able to help the dogs settle into their new living environments, we have started new collaborations with independent rescues and supported in concrete ways the fight against racing.
We have done all of this just on donations and membership fees, without spending a single penny of the charity’s money on trips or anything else. Those who go and collect the dogs, those who go to the rescues or to protest events, do so out of their own pockets. And the same goes for the foster families, they don’t receive a penny, they just do it out of love for the dogs and their cause.
For these reasons we ask our members, friends, and all those who believe in our project and in the cause of greyhounds to help support us with a donation, however small. In this way we will slowly be able to add more ‘bricks’ to the house we are building. Our heartfelt thanks.
