Milled Ash (a.k.a. Codspeed or Lamma North as renamed by the Canidrome) is one of the 9 Irish greyhounds sent to Macau in 2016. All 9 Irish greyhounds, Ballinulty Star, Crossfield Marie, Bellmore Belle, Crossfield Simon, High Maintenance, Two Stone Tadgh, Crossfield Leona, Ballinulty Show, Milled Ash, sent to Macau in 2016 are alive and have been identified.
Of these, High Maintenance (a.k.a. Brighten Righ as renamed by the Canidrome), has been rescued by Anima in June and is now safe and sound at the refuge, Crossfield Simon and Bellemore Belle – respectively renamed Beauty Butterfly and Happy Child by the Canidrome – have been adopted locally in Macau. Apart from these last two, all seven of the others will be adopted in Europe. This is an extraordinary result for these dogs, at least half of which had been presumed dead for a long time.
Character: happy and easy going, well balanced. Friendly, very playful and very sociable. Loves cuddles. Very curious. Walks well on lead.
