Tomorrow – greyhound racing participants will be descending on Sydney from all around the state and even Victoria to defend their ‘hobby of death’.
Don’t let this ruffle you – we have the majority of the Australian public on our side. The majority of people don’t support cruelty when they know about it. The NSW Liberal Govt have the numbers, as long as not too many Nationals don’t cross the floor.
Tomorrow – consider ringing up National MPS who may cross the floor and reiterate that these points – – Most industry participants discard their dogs. – All industry participants put their dogs’ lives at risk of death, serious injury or chronic injury every time they race. – Most industry participants KNEW about live baiting and yet did nothing. ~ be polite ~

(last note – we don’t think that the figure is 4074 dogs are killed each year in NSW. Almost 9000 are born in NSW each year. Some go interstate, but they are killed there instead and so not included in the figures. We need to look at total number of deaths in Australia to get an accurate picture.
